sacrifice zones, the project shows different places in Galicia that have been designated for the production of natural resources, reflecting on the impact this has had on the landscape and the effects of the process of degradation of a territory. Sacrifice zones are geographical areas, generally of high industrial concentration or great natural value, destined for the exploitation and obtaining of some type of resource. They are places selected for an economic purpose, where environmental and social issues are subordinated to the interests of large companies. This project documents the mark left on the landscape by the exploitation of water, land and wind in Galicia. Assuming landscape as a form of territorial identity, dams, mines, eucalyptus plantations and wind farms have for decades modified a territory in which the scars of these practices are increasingly evident. [GAL] A partir do concepto de zona de sacrificio, o proxecto mostra diferentes lugares de Galicia que foron destinados para a produción de recursos naturais, reflexionando sobre o impacto que isto ten na paisaxe e os efectos do proceso de degradación dun territorio. As zonas de sacrificio son áreas xeográficas, xeralmente de gran valor natural, destinadas a explotación e obtención dalgún tipo de recurso. Son lugares seleccionados para un fin económico, onde cuestións medioambientais e sociais quedan supeditadas a os intereses das grandes empresas. Este proxecto documenta a pegada na paisaxe que a explotación da auga, a terra e o vento deixan en Galicia. Asumindo a paisaxe coma unha forma de identidade territorial, encoros, minas, plantacións de eucalipto e parques eólicos, levan décadas modificando un territorio no que as cicatrices destas prácticas son cada vez máis patentes. From supplier of natural resources, headquarter of the espionage network to scene of naval confrontations, the Galician territory was another battlefield lent to the interests of nazi Germany. A field that has remained full of testimonies of this nazi past in post-war Galicia. [GAL] Entre 1939 e 1945, pese a aparente neutralidade da ditadura franquista na Segunda Guerra Mundial, Galicia converteuse nunha carta fundamental no xogo bélico dos países implicados. Desde abastecedora de materias primas, sede da rede de espionaxe a escenario de enfrentamentos navais, o territorio galego foi un campo de batalla máis prestado aos intereses da Alemaña de Hitler. Un campo que quedou cheo de testemuñas deste pasado nazi da Galicia de posguerra. [ESP] Entre 1939 y 1945, pese a la aparente neutralidad de la dictadura franquista en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Galicia se convirtió en una carta fundamental en el juego bélico de los países implicados. From supplier of natural resources, headquarter of the espionage network to scene of naval confrontations, the Galician territory was another battlefield lent to the interests of nazi Germany. A field that has remained full of testimonies of this nazi past in post-war Galicia. These landscapes are intended to imitate reality, thus creating a series of fictitious and non-existent spaces. The final result is created by the spectator's own influence, as they stand in front of a place where everything is unreal: room, light and portals. [GAL]Serie fotográfica que amosa lugares de acceso a mundos ilusorios onde a través de gretas de portas e ventás simuladas pódense entrever unha serie de paisaxes celestes. Estas paisaxes pretenden imitar a realidade, creando así unha serie de espazos ficticios e inexistentes. O resultado final créase por o propio influxo do espectador, ao situarse fronte a un lugar onde todo é irreal: estancia, luz e portais. [ESP] Serie fotográfica que muestra lugares de acceso a mundos ilusorios donde a través de rendijas de puertas y ventanas simuladas se entrevén una serie de paisajes celestes. Dichos paisajes pretenden imitar la realidad, creando así una serie de espacios ficticios e inexistentes.
